WHO ARE WE?

Student welfare encompasses services that promote the physical, mental and social wellbeing of students.  Student welfare aims to create a safe and healthy learning and working environment, protect mental health and promote well-being. It is carried out in collaboration with parents. Student welfare services include the services of licensed counselors and psychometrician.

WHAT DO WE DO?

  1. We give information to aid the students toward self – knowledge and self-realization

  1. We assist students in working out solutions to personal concern that will lead to better self-understanding and adjustment to life.

  2. We conduct Counseling service; to foster self- understanding and direction among students; to guide and strengthen students’ decision-making skills, helping them attain independence, inner discipline and self-actualization; to assist students in crisis and students with special needs.

  3. We provide placement service.  This helps the students to promote individual skills and attitudes necessary for coping with changes in the occupational world. This further includes students’ awareness of their basic academic skills, decision-making, job seeking, and development of good work habits and a personally meaningful set of work values.  

  4. We conduct research and evaluation to carry on a systematic assessment on the effectiveness of the student personnel services offered, to be utilized for the improvement of the services.
