Dentistry is the profession or science dealing with the prevention and treatment of diseases and malformations of the teeth, gyms and oral cavity, and the removal, correction and replacement of decayed, damaged or lost parts, including such operations as the filling and crowning of teeth, straightening of teeth, and the construction of artificial dentures.
At the UPH-DJGTMU College of Dentistry, our goal is to produce graduates that will continually provide professional dental care not only to our local populace, but extend such services to the rest of the world. With the continued support of the University Chancellor Dr. Arcadio L. Tamayo and UPH President Antonio L. Tamayo, we are constantly able to pursue excellence in dental education through the provision of up-to-date facilities and programs for our students.
